Silvie Defraoui is one of the pioneers of video and multimedia art. From 1975 she worked collaboratively with her husband Chérif until his death 1994. In 1975 she decided to put her complete works under the title ‘Archives du future’. All her artistic production is incorporated within this long-term project in the form of a constantly growing archive.
